The Renewable Fuels Association is welcoming its newest producer member, The Andersons Marathon Holdings LLC. The company, formed by The Andersons Inc. and Marathon Petroleum Corp., owns four ethanol biorefineries.
U.S. fuel ethanol production was up more than 1 percent the week ending Oct. 27, according to data released by the U.S. EIA on Nov. 1. Stocks fell by 2 percent, reaching the lowest level since December 2021, while exports were up 6 percent.

ACE, USGC and the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council hosted a tour in October to show stakeholders from Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama how ethanol blends have been safely, successfully and profitably incorporated in South Dakota.
Growth Energy submitted comments on Oct. 26 to CARB as part of its effort to revise the state’s cap and trade regulations. The comments call on CARB to approve the use of E15 and update unscientific, outdated lifecycle calculations.
