More than 30 state biofuel and agriculture organizations on April 28 sent a letter to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., expressing strong support for an amendment to the 2026 Farm Bill that would allow year-round E15 sales.
Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly on April 27 signed SB 82, a legislative tax package that, in part, creates a new 5-cent-per-gallon non-refundable income tax credit for each gallon of E15 or higher-ethanol blend fuel sold at retail within the state.
Pearson Fuels reached a milestone in mid-April, delivering E85 to its 500th station. The average price of E85 in California during March was $2.50 per gallon below gasoline, offering substantial relief to flex fuel vehicle owners.
MN Bio-Fuel is encouraging fuel retailers to apply for new grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation Bio-Fuels Infrastructure Program to expand access to E15, also known as Unleaded 88.
The USDA on April 7 announced it has awarded six grants worth a combined $4.17 million under the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program to support expanded ethanol and biodiesel availability and use in Iowa.
