We develop tailor-made solutions for biogas plants; competent, innovative and independent of equipment suppliers and subcontractors. Since our foundation in 1999, we have gained extensive experience in biogas plant design, engineering, construction and improvement. Our reference list includes more than 160 projects in over 40 countries. As expert engineering office, Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH works for different industries and well-known companies and has been responsible for some of the biggest biogas plants in the world. Our key accounts are public and private companies that we support in reducing emissions and fulfilling their commitment to cleaner, greener and more sustainable energy. Our track record in industrial by-products and waste is extensive, from potato producers, slaughterhouses to sugar and ethanol. With biogas plant in in Rio Cuarto Rio, Argentina (operational since 2018) that processes 135000t/a of thin stillage from corn-based ethanol production, Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure GmbH has shown that anaerobic digestion offers a proven solution for thin stillage commonly evaporated with high energy consumption. For our outstanding work on an integrated biogas and bioethanol production plant in Rio Cuarto, we received the AD & Biogas Industry Award 2020 in the organization of the World Biogas Association.
Founded in 2007, BIOFerm has a diverse portfolio of projects in the biogas industry. This allows us to provide a seamless, sustainable, and economical integration of organic waste management and gas purification solutions into a variety of operations – including food processors, landfills, distilleries/ethanol plants, wastewater recovery plants, agricultural operations and more. Our technologies include biogas upgrading using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) or membranes, and anaerobic digesters using continuously stirred tank reactors (CSTR), dry fermentation, or plug flow solutions.
